Hi. I totally stole the title from a DS episode. What. What?

Anyway! So here it is! Clocking in at just under 12,000 words *facepalm* my entry for [info]svmadelyn's kink/cliche challenge.

Please note: The management would like to thank [info]monkiedude for her thorough, awesome, multiple, betas on this thing. Do you know what a friend is? A friend is someone you can email: "So hey, do you have time on Sunday to beta 12,000 words of rps amnesia fic? And I need it turned around in mere HOURS because I plan my life JUST THAT WELL" to, and have them say to you, Yes! Sure! Send it!

THAT, my friends, is LOVE ♥

The management would also like to inform you that this is a CLICHE fic challenge. Not a House, M.D. fic challenge. Therefore there was absolutely NO medical things researched. None. Nada. Zilch. Everything in this fic not only didn't happen, but wouldn't happen, ever, the end. So. Take it for what it is, all right? RPS amnesia fic. How serious could this really be?

Oh, this was just fantastic and FUN. As mentioned above, they're SUCH BOYS, and I loved that. And Rosenbaum introducing himself as Lex Luthor? Killed me.

"Okay," Jared said slowly. "I'm Jared. Who the hell are you?"

WHEE.

"Holy shit, Jensen!" Jared shouted, jumping up from the couch. His cheeks were flushed pink and his eyes snapped in anger. "You asking me louder isn't gonna make me remember any faster, all right?"

Aww. Poor Jared.

Jen closed his eyes and leaned against the car. "What the fuck are you doing answering Steve's phone?"

Hee! Good choice.

"You and me," Jared said slowly. "We're what, best friends or something?"

Yes, but you want to have hot dirty sex with each other.

Jared whipped a hanger from the closet, an ugly brown and white flowered shirt hanging from it. "I wear this shit?" Jen laughed out loud at the look on Jared's face. "No, man, I'm serious here," Jared insisted. "Everything in here is pink. Or ugly. Or pink and ugly. Jesus Christ."

BWAH HAHAH. Oh, Jared.

He yanked on a hanger and thrust it at Jared. "This is blue and ugly. Knock yourself out."

I can't stop giggling. Jared! Lambasting his own awful fashion sense! Not that Jen's much better, of course.

"So I just - wandered off during work one day and bam. No memory and no one knows why."

So pervy girls could write porn about you. Isn't that sad? Poor Jared.

"Hi. I'm Lex Luthor."

That is possibly the most perfect line EVER. I can't stop giggling.

"Are we…" he trailed off. Jen watched as Jared reached around to scratch the back of his neck. When he turned his head his eyes were wide. "I mean, were we…"

I love this, because any uninformed person looking at those pictures would have questions. It is PERFECTLY REASONABLE.

Jared looked up at him. His hair was falling over his forehead, messy from sleep. He blinked wide eyes at Jen. When he licked his lips Jen couldn't stop staring at his mouth. "I know I want to now," Jared told him softly.

*melts*

"Was it always like this, Jensen?" Jared asked softly. "I feel like I've always known you. Like it was always this." Jen shivered when Jared kissed the shell of his ear. "Is that how it always was?"

That's just...yeah. Gorgeous.

"Chad," Jared answered with a smile. "And man, you fucking hate his guts."


Jen laughed his first real laugh in days. "Yeah. I really do," he said.

ME TOO.

It was the medallion in the box that they were going to use in the next episode that did it. Or so they all figured. No one wanted to touch it to find out for sure, but Jen saw what Jared had done when he passed out and got his memory back so it only made sense that he did the same thing when he was by himself to make him lose it in the first place.

That is just many, many levels of awesome. *victory arms*

Jen licked his lips. "Move so I can-"


"Wait," Jared said. He slid a hand down to rest on Jen's hip. "You want me to-"


"Yeah." Jen nodded. "Yeah. All right?"


Jared kissed him so hard their teeth hit together. Jen figured that was a yes.



This bit. Holy crap. It's so, so obvious that they know each other almost unbelievably well, and that's just. YAY.

Jared's mouth was hot and wet, kissing and sucking and fucking him right there, right-Holy fuck. Jen tightened his fist, stroked himself harder, and nearly fucking lost it when Jared pushed Jen's hand away and held it against the bed.

Rimming! Bossy!Jared! *obligatory having your babies remark*

They stayed there for a minute, sweaty and breathless, and Jen wondered if he'd ever loved anyone this much in his life.

YAY!!! This made my heart happy. I mean, it was totally YES on the hawt, but Jensen just being head-over-heels for Jared was fabulous.

"Steve," he heard Chris say. "Jen needs you."
This hit me right in the gut. Oh, vulnerable Jensen. **squishes** And, oh, his friends. **squishes them too**

"Hi. I'm Lex Luthor."
Hahahaha yes he is because he is EV0L and would totally do that.

And the shirt scene was wonderful, as everyone else has already said.

Jared greeting the dogs hit me in the gut too. Of course he was happy to see his babies, even if he didn't know who they were. It's like, in his DNA.

I think you nailed them all with this one (hahaha, double entendre). Yay for good writers using bad plot devices!!!

This fic made me ridiculously happy. I love the bit about the medallion, very funny, very season 6 Buffy. God, wouldn't that be awesome, stick all the WB people in the same room and take their memories? Oh lord, the craziness. But back to your story, which was fantastic. I loved the little cameos especially, and the hints of Jared being Jared even when he couldn't remember anything. So good. And HOT. LORD. I'm glad you decided to do those two sex scenes.
